Sustainability shows most clearly where quality has its origin. At RAUCH, this origin does not begin in processing or filling – it begins where fruit is grown. It is here, at the very start of the value chain, that responsibility, quality and long-term thinking come together.
Alongside close collaboration with a wide network of fruit growers and farmers, RAUCH also operates its own plantations in Poland, where apples and aronia berries are cultivated. These plantations are more than agricultural sites. They represent a place where proximity to raw materials, high quality standards and a clear commitment to responsible cultivation come together in daily practice.
Working together with farmers
Sustainable fruit cultivation does not happen in isolation. It is built on close relationships with the people who grow our fruits. Farmers are not just suppliers – they are key partners in shaping sustainable agriculture in practice. Our Agronomy Program is at the centre of this approach. Through it, we work directly with growers to share knowledge, develop solutions together and continuously improve agricultural practices. This includes workshops, field visits and targeted support measures such as soil sampling, training on cultivation techniques and guidance on evolving environmental requirements.
By 2025, the program has already reached hundreds of farmers, creating a growing network of partners who see themselves not only as producers, but as part of a broader value chain. This collaboration goes beyond technical exchange. Over time, it has created long-term relationships based on trust, dialogue and mutual learning. Farmers bring deep knowledge of their land, while RAUCH contributes experience from different regions and markets – and together, better solutions emerge.
A practical approach to sustainability
What becomes clear is this: sustainability at RAUCH is not a concept defined on paper. It is built through practical decisions – in the soil, in cultivation, during harvesting and throughout processing. It is about being close to the fruit, maintaining high standards and taking responsibility where it begins.
That is why we invest in structures and partnerships that create long-term impact – connecting quality with responsible action at every step of the journey
