![]() The orange juice concentrate produced in Brazil or Florida is deep-frozen, filled into barrels or big tanks of 25,000 to 100,000 litres and is pumped directly into the basins of the transport vessels. The very viscous fruit juice concentrate has a temperature of -10°C in order to avoid a possible quality downslide. The ships bring the concentrates to the European ports, from which they are then transferred to the Rauch plants by truck. For the storage of fruit juice concentrates and aromas, large storage capacities are available in a spacious freezing stock and in large-size storage tanks, which correspond to more than 230 million litres of fruit juice.
