The orange juice concentrate produced in Brazil or Florida is deep-frozen, filled into barrels or big tanks of 25,000 to 100,000 litres and is pumped directly into the basins of the transport vessels. The very viscous fruit juice concentrate has a temperature of -10°C in order to avoid a possible quality downslide. The ships bring the concentrates to the European ports, from which they are then transferred to the Rauch plants by truck.
